It has hardly been a week ago, but it already seems like forever.

Easter break was great. After some screw ups here and there, I'm glad we made it there and back in one piece, and happier than before. The iternary looked something like that:
Day 1: Bochum -> Heidelberg
Day 2: Freiburg, Titisee
Day 3: Lake Constance, Triberg
Day 4: Stuttgart, Karlsruhe
Day 5: Tuebingen, Mannheim -> Bochum
Trip stuff will be in a separate post when the pics are up and ready.

Other things that happened in the week included a birthday at Sausalitos followed by Freibeuter, a 'reunion dinner' so some sort with the gang after we decided to screw the whole 'lets (always) eat tog!' thing, all you can eat dinner and billiard at a restaurant/cafe/bar tucked away in a small corner of the city, a very interesting work week albeit struggling to keep up with conversations going in only german and finally shopping for THE mat which I will bring on the morrow to the Kemnade See nearby to lie on the grass and do nothing. Slow lazy sunday afternoons and a hearty oily breakfast of sunny side ups, wursts, cinnamon toasts and apple juice. That's LIFE. =)

This post was actually started with a crappy mood, but after all that thought of my wonderful day ahead, i forgot what i was gg to bitch about. YAY.

Oh. and the weather today? KICKASS. It was jacket-ditchable. My summer gear's out! finally!Being able to bake your skin in the sun again is just fantorgasmicastic. Days when the sun doesnt set before 9. Only drawback being feeling like 6pm but all the shops are closed. the Germans are missing out on a big big retail market seriously. Shops are closed by 8pm, some by 6pm. weekdays. Weekends, saturdays only. Sunday ushers in the ghost-town. So we buy mat and go lie down in the grass by the lake and do nothing! Sunday is family day, wished they were here. The Mom to cook and prepare picnic food with, the Dad to accompany the mom, the brothers to annoy and get annoyed with. Those were the days. And now, with their three children in different shores, the mom and the dad are really catching up with each other. Romantic walks! WHAHAHAHA. SO. CUTE!!!!

Coming back to the main station today, sounds gunfight-like were heard, some kaypohness and sharp hearing brought us to fireworks which lasted a whole 15 mins at least. Coolness.

Xingyi! Now i know what you mean by cherry blossoms looking like snow fall. I was in a cherry blossom fall today and it was just indescribably magical. =))
