Paris Je t'aime
i should be asleep by now but am too hyperactive and will try to squeeze in a little something anyhow. it was a great film, a montage of the many stories set in oh so nice paris. quite typically french arthouse type film about love, from wickedly funny to heart wrenching to absurdly weird to thoughtful to sugar sweet. noteworthy little stories include blind guy with budding actress (n.portman she's so cute), cute cute cute little guy and mimes people, and mr hobbit and vampires, french humor all included. of course this asian one which none of us could make any sense out of cept to laugh at it's pointlessness. very interesting. in french and some english with german subtitles, never knew i could understand so much. bingo! must have had learned all that (right) languages to prepare for this film! lol. and of course how could you not love it when it was paris paris paris paris paris in the backdrop. Je t'aime!
I should also put down a little something about this little art-housy theatre it was screened. Small and cosy, separated by two flanels of curtains from the entrance and a cafe/bar place. tickets bought at the same place you would order your martinis and cafe au laits there was this intimacy i cant describe. somewhat old, but really comfortable and pleasant. liked it instantly. and of course what's better than great company.
