A day around the rhine region when girls can do anything they want without a trip to the police station or weird stares.

A day the guys keep wear suits without ties, and shoes without laces.

A day girls go out with only girls and guys with guys (if they are game AND daring enough)

What I did this day.
1) Go to work. and tried to cut a colleague's laces off. mission impossible. he was on high alert being the person who informed us of this very special day for the ladies in germany, and the only guy in the lab today.

2) Go to the bank. and saw a surgeon walking out of the room, a queen with her crown, crazy german football fan, and the bank manager in his suit and tie (YESSSSS!) went back to the counter, and asked:

Me: how true is it that today's the day girls can cut off guy's tie without getting punched?
The Queen: (bends over, picks up a scissors from the drawers, smiles VERY sweetly at me)
(to guy, in german) hey, bend over, she's coming over for your tie.
Me: WOW.

3) Go to bermuda triangle, dressed up. but bummer. no crazy parties. stupid small towns. need to go to cologne for big party.
