Music is therapeutic.
Feels depressed with me, reliefs the moodiness, then soothes.
Nothing beats making good music. together. When a chord sits in perfectly and resonates into the distant crowd, the feeling is just great. hair-standing, goosebump-producing kinda wonderful. And knowing you played a part in making that one chord ring makes me smile from ear to ear. It's four good songs and two brilliant performances for two very big shots so far. Boy are we good! HAHA! and receiving positive comments from audiences definitely boosts the already joyful soul.
mood rate for the day: =) =) =)
of course it'll be even better if i had those power ears that would decipher and identify the precise thingalings that make up a tune,a chord, a song. if i could play the 88-keys or the six-strings properly, or even whip out incessantly delicate complicated rhythms. but for now, i m really thankful that at least my ears didnt fail me in my ability to appreciate good music. at least i can tinker tunes out of both of my beloved. at least i can manage simple (it's not called SIMPLE for nothing!) and triple time together.
sometimes, we just need to go all out and make ourselves feel good! =)
