So much for the walk... it has left me battered and torn, with a limping leg, worn-out muscles, close-to-collapsing arch, and most of all, an uneven tan....but all in all, fun it was! the company was great, and there were real interesting scenes........
- spidey in his full gear, waving to over-excited screaming kids/adolescents/teens/adults/more-than-adult adults/fans.... what a hero. clad in his bodysuit of sun-unfriendly colors, likely waterproof, and yet he was smiling and patiently waving and offering handshakes... wait.. was he genuinely smiling? funny thing was, he was one of the last ppl walking... and not too far behind him was a policeman on his bike telling the over-enthusiastic ladies determined to not take the short-cuts but stopping for rests every half km, to hurry and walk-on... their determination i salute to, but i guess they ought to make more effort hahaa....
- beings that look like they came right out of fifth element. just that these urm... alien divas? they were hot pink instead of blue-green. disastrous. plan was to scare the next one that came along. but they never did. lucky for them....
- the FLG ppl complete with their drums, chants, high-flying colorful balloons... they were really quite a landmark... lost among the crowds? just walk behind em and tell your friends to look out for the balloons. they cant be missed.... and just as we were approaching the finish point, there was this grp that were actually meditating as the chants were being blasted in the background... this takes the cake....
- tired and thirsty, i looked into the goodie bag only to find SUNFLOWER OIL.. @#$^%#$^?????????
and there you go... anyone game for this next year?
